Director of Creative, User Experience
Gaby works with clients and our SEO teams to determine creative direction for all our website development projects. Since joining SEO Advantage® in 2007, she brings a rich array of interactive media capabilities and ensures every project meets the high level of quality output SEO Advantage® is known for. Gaby often leads our brainstorming sessions to generate creative concepts, ideas, and imaging for clients and our company. She works with our account executives and copywriters to formulate marketing strategy and message and serves as the interface between clients and programmers, translating requirements and making sure website functionality is implemented correctly. Gaby also handles production of traditional marketing materials for our clients, interfacing with printing companies and other specialty providers such as translation services.
Gaby’s rich professional portfolio spans almost 20 years of industry appointments. She was previously charged with overseeing the graphic design needs of one of Mexico’s largest telecommunications companies and its 21 branch offices. As a creative director, she managed the creative talent and direction for a team of copywriters and graphic designers at a national advertising agency based in Florida, consulting with clients and agency management and supervising design production and prepress setup. Her infinite attention to detail and thirst for new challenges provoked an interest in SEO and web site development and led her to develop a special interest in CSS and standards compliance. Before she honed her specialty in online marketing and website development, she also designed print collateral and packaging for a wide variety of companies in consumer packaged goods, real estate, medical and business-to-business industries as an independent consultant.
Gaby holds a bachelor of arts in graphic design from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. In her spare time, she hangs out with her husband and two sons and their basset hound Bruno at their Colorado home base. She also unwinds by painting – her portraits and still life art have been featured in gallery exhibitions, and she enjoys experimenting with different creative media.
